This paper addresses the role of social emotional competence in the emotional and behavioral problems and learning outcomes of preschool children based on their parents’ and teachers’ evaluations. In this study, we compared the perceptions of teachers and parents when evaluating the same child using the multi-informant assessment. Infantilas rīšanas paradumi un citas orofaciālā kompleksa atradnes pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem Latvijā

Ievads: Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saikni starp infantilas rīšanas paradumiem ar citām orofaciālā kompleksa atradnēm pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem Latvijā. Paralēli tam mēs pētījām arī oklūziju. Metodes: Šajā šķērsgriezuma pētījumā piedalījās 141 pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu no 4 līdz 7 gadiem un viņu mātes. Orofaciālā kompleksa izmeklēšanu veica divi ortodonti, kurā tika novērtēta orofaciālā kompleksa miofunkcionālā situācija, oklūzija un bērnu runas defekti. Mātēm tika sniegtas anketas, lai iegūtu informāciju par bērnu veselības stāvokli un citiem identifikācijas datiem. Vispārējās veselības stāvokļa un nepārtikas paradumu saikne ar kariesa intensitāti pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem Latvijā

Mērķis. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt iespējamo saikni starp pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu vispārējās veselības traucējumiem, mutes veselību ietekmējošiem kaitīgiem paradumiem un kariesa intensitāti. Metodes. Šo šķērsgriezuma pētījumu, kas notika 2017. un 2018.gadā, apstiprināja Latvijas Universitātes Ētikas Komisija. Kopējais dalībnieku skaits bija 158, vecumā starp 2 un 7 gadiem. Rakstiska piekrišana tika saņemta no vecākiem. Bērna vecāki aizpildīja aptaujas. Klīnisko apskati veica trīs zobārsti, kuriem asistēja grupa ar studentiem. Priekšvēsture: Orofaciālā mioloģija ir zinātne par sejas un orofaciālā kompleksa muskuļu normālu un patoloģisku darbību un to saistību ar sakodienu un runu. “Orofaciālā kompleksa miofunkcionālie traucējumi” (OMT) ietekmē mutes dobuma stāvokli un to saistību ar dažādiem fizioloģiskiem un psiholoģiskiem faktoriem. Infantila rīšana, mutes elpošana, pirkstu vai knupja ilgstoša sūkāšana, nagu graušana un zobu griešana ir daži no galvenajiem pētītajiem sliktajiem ieradumiem (Hanson & Mason, 2003). Darba autore izvēlētajam darba tematam piemeklēja un aplūkoja daudzus literatūras avotus, lai sekmīgi veiktu pētījumu, kuri vienmēr balstās uz teorētiskiem uzskatiem, un kā tiks veikts arī šajā diplomdarbā. Chemosensory reactivity and food neophobia in preschool children: impact of smell, but not of taste

Context and objective: Recent studies suggested that sensory sensitivity could be linked to food neophobia, described as the reluctance to eat, or the avoidance of, new foods. The objective of the present study was twofold. Firstly, this study aimed at assessing the links between smell reactivity and taste reactivity in children. Secondly, this study assessed the links between children’s smell/taste reactivity and food neophobia. The aim of the current study was to determine Finnish and Dutch three-year-old preschool children's physical activity (PA) levels and how levels vary across gender, location, time of day and social contexts in both countries. A modified version of the Observational System for Recording Physical Activity in Children-Preschool (OSRAC-P) was used to measure children's PA levels and contextual variables (e.g. group composition, prompts) of children attending childcare centres in Finland and the Netherlands. Mērķis: Šī darba mērķis bija uzzināt un analizēt vecāku sociāl-ekonomiskā stāvokļa,izglītības līmeņa ,ar ēšanas paradumiem saistīto faktoru ietekmi uzr kariesa izplatību bērniem bērnudārzos Latvijā. Materiāli un metodes: 158 bērni Latvijas bērnudārzos tika klīniski apskatīti. Tika izmeklēts mutes veselības stāvoklis. Apskati veica divi ārsti ,palīdzot asistentiem(studentiem). Apskate tika veikta ievērojot Pasaules Veselības organizācijas noteikto protokolu,izmantojot CPI zondi, intraorālu spoguli un dabīgajā apgaismojumā.
